you've got to be kiddin me!

A bone tickling incident that made my day!

The day was thursday.  The time was 3:50.  The place was the corner by my house.  The what was:

I was running a little late (as usual) as I hurridly pulled out of my driveway to head to work.  As normal I honked as I left just to let everyone no I left (and if no one is at home, I still let the dogs know!) Anyways, as I pulled out, I noticed a semi sitting in the middle of the road, with its door opened, stopped, and almost completely blocking my way.  Now what am I gonna do, I thought to myself.  Should I turn at this corner or try and go around it? I decided to go around it.  As I was approaching I noticed there was no driver in the vehicle and his door was open, so I assumed he got out but I couldn't see him anywhere.  Hmm, that's kinda odd.  But I didn't think much of it as I plowed around it through the ditch.  A split second later (as I am passing it) I notice a guy running around the opposite side of the truck and out of my veiw. Odd! Curious me wondered...What was he doing?  Then the thought hit me and I looked down at the road just behind the end of the semi.  What do you think I saw?! A wet spot!  I practically split my gut I was laughing soo hard.

First,  I see a semi stopped in the middle of the road with it's door open, which is extremely rare, then I figure out this guy stopped so he could take a leak in the middle of the road, which is even more extremely rare!  I mean seriously... who stops in the middle of a country road, 2 miles from a Casey's to take a leak?!  I guess I'm a girl so I wouldn't understand, but seriously!  I'm sure he had to go really really bad and he probably looked in all directions to make sure no one was coming (not expecting me to pull out of my driveway just a few hundred yards away)!  Can you imagine the look on his face when he heard me honk as I was coming down the road toward him!  Good thing he was already peeing otherwise he might have had some wet pants!

Needless to say this totally made my day (which probably wouldn't have taken much since I was in a terrible mood from sewing...I have very little patience with sewing and I want my product to turn out perfect - not a good combination! Especially since I sew far from perfect!!) So, I was in much need of something to make me smile!

Thank you sir, who decided to wizz on my road! ;)
